Mixed experience - school kids, broken audio, no map
Grand Pré National Historic Site的点评
点评:Caught it at the last day before closing for the season. There is a 20 min introductory video (very small subtitles, not ideal for hearing impaired people). Opposite a small museum with many information boards to read. There are also some audio however several are out of order. I wonder how long they have been out of order and how much time they need to fix them. And some videos. All is offered in French and English.
I am disappointed about the teachers who do not seem to care what their pupils are up to. They run through the museum, press buttons at random inconsiderate of other visitors. I cannot remember how often I had to stop a kid pressing a button right in front of me while watching a video. This would clearly be the teacher's job.
Outside we missed several things as you no longer receive a paper map. Tough luck if you do not have a phone to take a photo of the map hanging there. Apparently to save paper. Fair enough - and how is the electricity produced which is needed for the phone? How about asking visitors?
