点评：I had heard about and tried to book the Polar Express trip for years but I had no idea until this year that they have other seasonal trips. We rode the train for the Pumpkin Junction trip with my son and daughter in law and my two grandsons (3 and 1 year old). They absolutely loved the whole experience including riding the "big" train, playing at the pumpkin patch with all the games set up and then riding the "little train" when we got back. The length of the trips were perfect too - not too long for little kids. The facility is lovely with trains everywhere - some other train cars are setup for you to go inside. The gift shop has souvenirs and other things you might need for your trip. There are restrooms at the gift shop. The depot, where you go to get your real ticket (even if you ordered online), is setup like a small museum with information about the train yard. The real ticket is even part of the experience because the conductor punches it as you board. The boys got to hold their own tickets. I recommend both train rides. I loved it as much as the boys but I also loved seeing their faces - when the train started, when the whistle blew, when we got off and on the trains. So much fun! I don't know many towns that can say they have an actual train ride where you can ride with the kids or just go on a couples date. The Fall Foliage tour will be starting soon and it is a longer ride. And then they have a Christmas day trip that you can book if you missed bookings for the night time Polar Express trip this year. Highly recommend and happy to support such a wonderful local excursion!
