点评：My husband is British and a huge WWII and airplane buff. I found this by chance and I drove him out there (we stayed in Calgary) and it was a huge hit. The museum has so much information about the amazing contribution of Canadians to the war effort and the incredible price they paid for it in human lives. We were moved many times by the stories and bravery these people had to share. The planes themselves were fantastic. They even had opportunities to sit in a cockpit (wow - so small - so many buttons and switches!) and two simulators to "fly" a plane. There are certain days they actually start the engines of some of the planes but you would need to contact them to find out more specifics on that. Worth the outing outside of the busy city for sure! Afterwords we took a meandering route through the surrounding farms and fields back to Calgary and that was spectacular as well with all the canola fields in bloom.
