探索湾的点评
点评：There are definitely some pros and cons, but overall our family enjoyed the day at Discovery Cove.
The customer service representatives on the phone are of no help at all. I called multiple times with concerns about a severe shellfish allergy. However, upon checking in, we were thoroughly taken care of and given peace of mind.
If you are allergic to shellfish, and they don’t mention this on the website before purchasing tickets, there are extra precautions when swimming and interacting with the animals. I was advised to stay away from the Grand Reef area altogether because the animals’ diet is primarily shrimp and there are remnants of it in the water. I did get to enjoy the rest of the park with no issues at all though. They also took extra care of my food and advised what was safe to eat.
We especially loved the lazy river with the otters and monkey island. The aviary is a lot of fun with a beautiful variety of birds. Definitely do the aviary early before the birds lose interest in you and your food.
We love that everything is all inclusive once you’re inside. Take it easy on their sunscreen. Too much and you will look like a marshmallow. Also get there early to book your dolphin time too. They also seem to lose interest throughout the day.
We are thankful for those who went above and beyond to make this a memorable, safe experience.
