点评：Pedernales State Park is about 45 minutes west of Austin, Texas. The Pedernales River hugs this park and is known for its scenic limestone waterfalls, hiking and camping opportunities. This is a very popular State Park, and reservations are highly recommended for both camping and day use areas. Pedernales SP has a park store, picnic and swimming areas, 2 amphitheaters, a couple of scenic overlooks, bird blind and a butterfly garden. There are 69 campsites, a youth group camp and an equestrian group site with pens. This State Park has over 10 miles of trails for the hiker and bikers, but the main attraction is the limestone cascades. Keep in mind that there will be a lot of walking at this park, so a good pair of shoes is needed, but the trails, cascades and falls are absolutely stunning. Well worth the visit.
