Longhorn Cavern State Park的点评
点评：My family and I had such a wonderful experience at Longhorn Cavern, and it's one we'll be talking about for a long time. The cavern is absolutely breathtaking, and the surrounding grounds are just as beautiful. We spent time walking around afterward, and it's the perfect place to slow down, enjoy nature, and even have a picnic.
We did the walking tour with our 2-year-old and 5-year-old, and I honestly wasn't sure how they would do. Our tour guide immediately put us at ease. She was funny, warm, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome while always keeping safety a priority. She had such a natural way of connecting with both adults and children that the tour never felt rushed or stressful.
One moment that really touched me was when another family on the tour had a 1-year-old walking with them. As toddlers do, she would stop to look around and get distracted. Instead of asking the parents to hurry her along, our guide sweetly encouraged the little girl to keep moving in such a playful, loving way that she thought it was a game. Watching that interaction spoke volumes about the kind of person she is. It was such a simple moment, but it made our experience feel even more special.
As a parent, those little acts of kindness don't go unnoticed. Both of my children had a great time, stayed engaged throughout the tour, and left talking about the cave and everything they learned. It's not always easy to find experiences that are enjoyable for young children and adults alike, but Longhorn Cavern absolutely delivered.
