Barton Springs - Still Magically Refreshing!!

点评：Having been away from Barton Springs for a few years, we decided that the time (& temperature) was right to rediscover the local treasure. Initially, we found that parking by the pool was incredibly competitive. Searching across the road from the springs, we found lots of (paid) parking on Stratford Drive. To our pleasant surprise, we found a free shuttle. The friendly, informative driver saved us many steps and an air-conditioned ride to the pool.
The magically invigorating waters of Barton Springs were just the trick to snap us out of the body & mind melting heat of Texas in July. Being a weekend day, it was a bit crowded, as more than a few others remembered how nice this place is, but there was plenty of frigid water to enjoy.
Once we were rejuvenated & refreshed, we hopped onto the waiting shuttle bus that brought us back to our parking lot. The driver told us that they are running every weekend through the summer. Nice free service, Zilker folks!!

翻译：我们已经有几年没去巴顿泉了，觉得现在正是重新探索这个本地宝藏的好时机（而且天气也适宜）。起初，我们发现游泳池附近的停车位极其难找。后来我们在泉水对面的斯特拉特福德大道上找到了不少付费停车场。更让我们惊喜的是，还有免费班车服务。那位热情又乐于助人的司机帮我们省去了不少麻烦，还让我们能在有空调的舒适环境中直达泳池。巴顿泉那充满魔力的清凉泉水，真是帮助我们从七月德克萨斯州酷热难耐的天气中恢复精力的绝佳良方。由于是周末，这里有些拥挤——有不少人也想起了这个地方的妙处；不过仍有大量冰冷的泉水可供我们尽情享受。
恢复元气之后，我们登上等候多时的接驳巴士，回到了停车场。司机告诉我们，整个夏天每逢周末都会有这种巴士运行。不错的免费服务，Zilker的朋友们！！
