A Bucket‑List Dream Come True — Daytona Completely Blew Me Away

点评：This stop has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember, so finally arriving at Daytona International Speedway felt huge. I was genuinely excited to feed my soul with everything this iconic place had to offer — and it absolutely delivered.
We explored the museum first, then joined the tram tour out onto the track, and I have to say… nothing prepares you for the scale of this place. I knew it was big, but standing there in person, seeing those turns rise up at such a steep angle, was overwhelming in the best possible way. You simply don’t grasp that kind of incline on TV — and other reviewers say the same thing .
Our guide was fantastic: knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the Speedway’s history. There’s so much to learn here, and even though my kids are younger and not as invested in the information, they still loved the ride around the track and the walk through pit lane and up into the stands. It gave them just enough hands‑on excitement to stay involved.
If I had one tiny wish, it would be to see a nod to Days of Thunder somewhere — maybe I missed it, but that would have been the cherry on top for me.
Overall, this experience was everything I hoped for and more. If you’re planning a visit, book ahead so you don’t miss out on the track tour — it’s absolutely the highlight.
