点评:Daytona 500 was on the Bucket List! We arrived early to our reserved parking area across from the track (8:30am) This was a perfect time to get there! Once inside was a little confusing. First, anyone who is in a wheelchair or carts, stands in a long line waiting for the two elevators. Others either climb the steps to the second floor or take the escalator.
Our seats were located across from the "exit" of pit row and the 300 area. After taking the escalator to the third floor, we started walking to our seats following the posted signs. We did not notice any signs stating "closed areas, hospitality or credentials only" while walking to our seats. So we had to walk back down to the main floor to get to the area of the 300's then walk back up stairs or the escalators. Once we arrived to our seats everything was great. There were vendors, bathrooms, etc and it was a beautiful day for a race.
I also did not notice a large police presence after the race controlling traffic to help people out. I guess I'm more aware at the Indy 500 since they are all over.
