清迈JJ市集的点评
点评：This is indeed a great market but go on a Saturday or Sunday morning as some of the free standing stalls sell everything very quickly. In addition to the stalls there are a number of permanent shops which are open most of the week.
There are many food stalls with plenty of places to sit and prices are very reasonable. Look out for the stall selling home made jams and chutney…really good choice. Fresh vegetables and fruit, Thai desserts and hot and cold drinks are all on sale with one of the best being a mobile drinks van.
Amongst the permanent shops is a supermarket, clothes and craft shops and coffee shops.
The market is a good place to find locally made clothes but beware…some are unpriced and if you are obviously a foreign visitor, you will be charged more than a Thai shopper!
Take time and it’s very possible to spend 2-3 hours here.
