Learn from the past, don't erase it so you don't repeat it
Wildman's Civil War Surplus的点评
点评:This place isn't for everyone. You have to have an open mind and look at it as going back in time to a part of history that happened whether you like it or not. My friend, born and raised in GA and I, from OH, both found Wildman's a fascinating place with so much to look at, we could have spent the day and not seen it all. So many old books, Civil War memorabilia, a Confederate officer uniform and yes, a KKK outfit. The woman at the counter was beyond cordial allowing me to take photos because I'd asked politely and was a pleasure to talk to.
Instead of trying to erase history, remember things in here weren't considered racist at the time and portrays how things were years ago whether we like it or not today. Anyone doing research into before, during and after Civil War period will find a treasure trove of books you probably can't find anywhere else.
The only way you learn to not repeat history is to learn from it, not try to erase or pretend it never happened.
