Remarkable adventure, amazing unspoilt Nature Park

点评：Monday 21st July we visited the small uninhabited island of Spargi as part of an organised Tour.
It is located in Italy's Maddalena Archipelago, and is a protected natural area. The Island is only accessible by boat.
It is located in the Mediterranean Sea, specifically within the Strait of Bonifacio, between Sardinia and Corsica.
Measuring roughly 4.2 square kilometers (1.62 square miles), it is the third largest island in the group.
We sailed here from the neighbouring Island of La Maddalena, another itinerary stop on our Tour.
There is not a lot here apart from the old military buildings a stone obelisk nearby the jetty where we landed and the wild boar on the Island, however there is plenty to enjoy.
There are some wooden pathways, which protect the dunes and control where visitors walk. There was a wooden barrier across the pathway to prevent access to certain areas including the military buildings.
The main feature of Spargi is it's unspoilt beauty, wild nature and golden sandy beaches, the most popular is Cala Corsara and Pirate Bay, which we visited and reviewed separately.
The waters around the Island are crystal clear and ideal for swimming and snorkeling.
As we made our way around we were able to experience the wild and rugged landscape. This included the amazing granite formations which we clambered over as we went exploring.
Guests were requested no to bring food on to the Island as it could attract the wild boars that live on the island.
We were only on the Island for just over an hour, it was a remarkable adventure.
