The Clark Art Institute的点评
点评：I’d give this place ten stars if possible. What a treasure. The architecture, setting, walking trails, and , oh yes, the artwork not to mention the astounding library…..so well executed. For an understated collection, this place really has it all. The collection is mostly European -think Renoir, Rodin, impressionists. There are American artworks as well as collections of silver and glass. For the person who doesn’t get or like contemporary art this is the place for you.
The library is extensive offering research opportunities. Music and film programs are available and the gift shop has unusual gift items , many books on sale and postcards of popular works from the collection.
It was too cold to walk the trail to yet another building -unfortunate since outdoor installations are on the property.
But I did attend a film in the auditorium one evening-part of the film noir series free to the public.
There’s a cafe with a limited menu that closes at three.
