Scenic, immersive desert museum with diverse wildlife and exhibits

点评：I spent Thanksgiving at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and had an awesome experience! One fun perk of being in Tucson is finding activities that feel special even on holidays, and I loved that the museum is open 365 days a year.
After navigating the scenic, winding drive up to the museum, we found plenty of parking and grabbed general admission tickets for $30 each, well worth the price for how much there is to explore. The map at the entrance lays out a super intuitive path, making it easy to wander through all the different sections without missing anything.
Some highlights for me were the Earth Sciences area, where you can see a cool selection of minerals, and the Mountain Woodland and Desert Grassland habitats featuring grey wolves, bobcats, and their new barn owl. There's so much to see that time gets away from you in the best way, and we easily spent a few hours taking it all in.
Overall, a fantastic experience and a great reminder that Tucson has so much natural beauty to share beyond the city limits. I'd definitely come back again and can see why locals recommend it to visitors year-round!
