点评:This is a hidden gem at the end of a small road. The approach is interesting and narrow as you might be tempted to pull into another of the businesses on the road. But keep going to the very end. The parking lot has limited spaces and if it is full, there is no where else to go except wait for an opening.
The guest center is pleasant, has informative displays, a small gift shop and good bathrooms. At most, the price of admission is $7 and it is worth it.
There is a simple map which points out the sights on a 1.4 mile round trip hike. The hiking is easy with a wide and gravelled path. The trail follows the cascading creek and wanders through oaks and sycamore. The air is fragrant and the glen is cool and welcoming. Some with limited mobility could go partway and there are great benches available at close intervals.
This is a fine birding location as well as a habitat for the endangered Chiricahua leopard frog.
This is really worth the visit as it is such a remarkable environment in an arid area.
