Great Everglades Airboat Tour
Everglades Holiday Park的点评
点评：So, we booked this tour to Everglades Holiday Park as a cruise departure port excursion, just to fill time in the early morning. Yes, we have been to the Everglades before, and have seen many alligators, so our expectations were a bit low--I wasn't sure I would like a giant more touristy airboat as compared to a small and intimate boat-- but I have to say we were very impressed with the quality of this experience.
First, as you arrive you are greeted by pretty peacocks--then you get a free photo before you board the airboat, and finally, as you start your adventure, you receive a very thorough, informative, and comprehensive description of what you are seeing!
Yes, I like going fast and watching the little waves, it is cool to spot the alligators slinking along, and the swamp and marsh plants are lovely and mesmerizing, but for me watching the osprey hunt in the water was a new and fabulous nature experience.
I really liked learning lots of new information about the Everglades.
I have to say the five star rating is most definitely for the wonderful airboat tour. Luckily we arrived very early, so we were one of the first boats on the water, as it can get busy and noisy.
The crowds descended soon, and there was a lack of seating in the alligator show, the little cafe could not keep up with the all the lined-up customers, and people were crowding around in the stores and the restrooms, so there are some improvements that could be made to better deal with the influx of visitors on the property.
A visit to Everglades Holiday Park is a very worthwhile experience, and will create many great memories, as well as provide the visitor with a lot of knowledge about alligators and this unique ecosystem.
