A wonderful multi-generational experience!

点评：My son, grandson and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Nauticus Museum and the Battleship Wisconsin. We arrived at 9:30 on a Monday morning and found metered parking right on the street across from the entrance to the museum for $2 per half hour. There were very few visitors. The hands-on exhibits were brilliantly designed for both children and adults. It is not a large museum, but we were engaged and entertained for about an hour and a half with all things related to boating and shipping, for example, hoisting actual sails, working as a crane operator in a 3D simulator to load shipping containers onto a cargo ship, and maneuvering a model sailboat with and against the wind. We then spent another exciting hour exploring the battleship, inside and out, without a tour guide which would not have worked with our active 6 year old. Our only disappointment was that the Secrets of the Sea movie was not playing that day, even though it was advertised as a daily feature. My only suggestion would be to have more volunteers available to answer simple questions, both at the museum and on the battleship.
