点评:First, beware that the train is not operational. This was the main reason we went, and we had checked before going. But were told it “JUST broke down” seems like it may not have been operational for a bit however.
Second, make sure you bring a jacket for the caverns as they are chilly. If you show up in a t-shirt they’ll push you to purchase sweatshirts in the gift shop. It was then a big rush because they wanted us to get sweatshirts *right now!* quickly before the tour. (By the way there are only very few sizes…..) so an initial rush and racket.
The caverns are really neat. But the tour was very awkward with the guide frequently leaving and asking us all to stay while he looped around to go turn out lights, but very firmly instructing us to stand and wait and touch nothing. Which is fine, but the entire tour was children and it would have been smoother if we could have simply gone through the whole tour. It felt like they were intentionally stretching it to take longer, and the guide certainly couldn’t read the group.
The maze is small and cheesy. But you do get turned around with the mirrors.
Overall, felt very run down, not worth the cost, and like at each opportunity there was another cost or someone trying to sell you another thing.
