点评："Our experience at PuzzlEscape today was incredibly disappointing. When we arrived for our booking, the lobby was empty. We waited at the desk until the owner finally came out of a room down the hall; he just looked at us like he didn't know why we were there. When my wife asked if he worked there, he said yes and asked, 'Are you the 2:30?' When we said yes, he dismissively told us, 'You are early... you are going to have to wait because the room isn't ready.' There was an initial mistake regarding a price quoted to us in an email; the owner refused to honor his own quote, but we paid the higher price anyway since we drove all the way there.
While we were actively working on the first riddle, the owner—who was listening via the room’s audio—overheard my teenage daughter mention her frustration regarding the pricing. Just 8 minutes in, he burst into the room and ended our session, claiming we were 'clearly miserable and not enjoying ourselves.' This was completely untrue; we were focused on the game, but he apparently couldn't handle a private comment about his own pricing mistake.
In the lobby, he became completely unhinged and began insulting my wife and daughter in front of other customers, even saying 'the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.' It is pathetic to see a grown man throw a temper tantrum and berate a teenager over a conversation he overheard while doing his job. He acted like a child because his ego was bruised. While the room concept was interesting, the management is hostile and unprofessional. I highly recommend taking your business to a place that actually values its customers."
