Rusk, TX Footbridge的点评
点评：We stayed at the Rusk KOA and it was very nice, clean, and most of all, quiet and relatively secluded with no highway noise. We did do the footbridge. Nice. Short but was apretty area. Mainly went to Rusk to use this as a "home base" from which to do area driving tours of Texas wildflowers. Not a great year (2025) for flowers but scenic driving.
Did the Rusk-Palestine-Crockett-Alto-Nacogdoches flower loop. Wished we had spent more time in Nacogdoches. Is County seat and has university with botanical Gardens there, a spring azalea festival, and a wonderful history museum downtown. Lovely place. Very very friendly. This driving loop took about 6-7 hours.
Before that, did the Northeast TX flower loop immediately north and stayed in Ennis at "Luxury RV Resort". All amenities but located right off an interstate and was very noisy. Ennis location had three loops: North (has a little mom & pop winery where you can grab a charcuterie board and sip wine outside), West and South. Took about 6 hours.
