点评：Main Street is Gibraltar’s primary pedestrianized shopping and commercial center, running north-to-south from Casemates Square down to Southport Gates. Designated as a VAT-freezone Main Street is known for duty-free shopping on cosmetics, jewelry, tobacco, spirits, electronics, and designer goods. There are a weath of shops and places to eat here, many known from the British high street like Marks & Spencers. For transactions, you can use the Gibraltar Pound (at par with British Sterling); Euros are also widely accepted. There are some good architectural gems, nearby Churches, statues etc. and these blend togther well mainly highlighted by Andalusian, Moorish, and British influences. Day or night it is always very busy!. A highlight for us has to be the wonderful cake and pasty shops that are dotted about!.
