点评：Went to relaxation spa at Banbury. Gift voucher for 60th birthday. Spa therapists gave no eye contact except to tell us they were ready and when they finished. Didnt give us any direction as to how things are done, called us when they were ready standing at the door while we were seated in the far corner. Felt like we were being called for a hospital procedure. No warmth, didnt seem they wanted to serve us. Felt like wilful rejection and decision not to even try to be kind.Throughout the massage, no communication at all except to say they had finished. After i got ready, the reception staff were huddled in their computer space again ignoring and engaged in some communication with each other rather than acknowledging the customer. I have been to many relaxation places , some very small rooms where you're treated with friendly, warm and personable staff. I went with much expectation as I had not been to this spa , being part of a chain and have had many spa experiences here and abroad to make a sound judgment on my experience here. These staff need training. The way they behaved is so counter cultural to a spa atmosphere. They didnt seem to like people or to want to interact with them and had not even the basics to want to approach them to even say hello. I struggled during the massage as the welcome was unfriendly and intimidating that i couldnt relax and just wanted to finish and leave. I wont recommend banbury spa due to this experience.
