点评:We recently visited Woodland Spa and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
Our booking was for 11:30 for hydrotherapy, followed by a 60-minute massage and then lunch. We arrived about 10 minutes late, and we completely understood that this meant we would have less time in the hydrotherapy area. When we were asked to leave the hydrotherapy at 12:00, we accepted that as fair since we were running late.
However, after leaving hydrotherapy we were asked to wait for our massage treatments. We then ended up sitting on the couches for approximately 45 minutes with absolutely no communication from staff about what was happening or why there was a delay.
No one checked in with us, explained the situation, or updated us on when our treatments would begin. Eventually we had to go up to the counter ourselves to ask when we would be taken in. The only response we received was that it would be “five minutes,” but there was still very little communication or acknowledgment of the long wait.
While delays can happen anywhere, the biggest issue was the lack of communication and poor customer service. A simple explanation or update would have made a big difference, especially at a place that is meant to provide a relaxing and premium experience.
Unfortunately, the disorganisation and lack of communication made the experience frustrating rather than relaxing.
