点评：Purnululu National Park exceeded our expectations! The bee hive domes that are the Bungle Bungles, Cathedral Gorge and Echidna Chasm make such a memorable day exploring. We left our van at the Bungle Bungles Van Park (unfortunately now closed for the season) but there is a rest area quite close to the turnoff for the van park, that a number of people are using for this day trip in. The road is about 53!k in but took about 2.5 hrs to get in - creek crossings,rough corrugations and rocks on the road make it slow going in many parts, we left at 6 am to head south to the domes and the Gorge first, then head north to Echidna Chasm and hope to be up there by about 12.30 to get the light in the chasm! Accurate advice 👍 first stop in is the visitors Centre ...you can buy a coffee and soak up the information proved by the staff at the Centre ...great advice about timing the day👍👍
The domes are postcard perfect and an easy walk to enjoy the striped sandstone - and then head on into Cathedral Gorge. Stunning! So many photos taken already 🤣 Echidna Chasm is a more challenging but beautiful scramble over river rocks of every colour, so I had to stop regularly to look up and around above me to take in the scenery. We took our lunch so we could picnic after this walk in and about 2ish, about 3 small tour buses arrived to also enjoy the chasm. Such an amazing day... we certainly live in an amazing country❤️

圆顶岩层美得像明信片一样，而且很容易走，可以欣赏到条纹状的砂岩——然后继续前往大教堂峡谷。太美了！已经拍了好多照片了🤣 针鼹峡谷则更具挑战性，但景色优美，需要攀爬各种颜色的河石，所以我不得不时不时停下来抬头环顾四周，欣赏美景。我们带了午餐，这样徒步回来后就可以野餐了。大约两点左右，有三辆小型旅游巴士也到了，也想来欣赏峡谷风光。真是美好的一天……我们生活在一个多么美好的国家啊❤️
