点评：This is the small mountain village in what is probably one of the most beautiful individual locations in the world. Situated within the deeply cut valley carved and shaped by glaciers during the last ice age, the village has massive cliff sides, lined with waterfalls with towering snow-peaked mountains in the distance.
You'll encounter traditional Swiss houses, cafes, couple of coffee shops, sports & outdoor equipment, hotels as well as supermarket, local bus service, rail station and other essentials, making Lauterbrunnen a suitable location to base for those interested in exploring further into the Swiss Alps for a few days.
We based here for 5 nights during a recent trip to Switzerland and found it to be a great spot for exploring various mountain villages, peaks and hiking trails during the warmer summer months, making use the Jungfrau Travel Pass. And what a great location to start/end each day with gorgeous panoramic views of the valley.
