点评：My daughter and I undertook the Open Water diving course with Pacific Divers in Rarotonga in early July 2026. I'm over fifty, and my daughter is sixteen.
We had the most incredible experience. The facilities and the instruction team were second to none — incredibly calm, knowledgeable, efficient, and organised. Although highly professional, they created a relaxed, chilled environment to learn in, which I really appreciated as someone who isn't a natural in the water and, being a bit of an old dog, doesn't always find it easy learning new tricks.
Arden and Jazz (UK) were brilliant in the water and clearly in their element. They were well supported by their colleagues Oscar and Jazz ( New Zealand). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this team to anyone wanting to learn to dive, or to experienced divers alike.
I was glad I stayed on for an extra day and did two more dives as a recreational diver after finishing my training — it let everything bed in and gave me a real sense of what a normal dive feels like, without any skills to practise or training requirements to complete as part of the open water course.
All in all, I felt totally safe throughout the course. More importantly, I felt my sixteen-year-old daughter was in excellent hands too, both for her safety and her overall experience. We also saw plenty of turtles and amazing reef life that you can't always get when snorkeling.
Well done to the whole team at Pacific Divers. Awesome.
