点评：Seven friends from Australia did Cyclomundo's 8-day self-guided 'Dordogne's Jewels and Treasures' cycling trip starting and finishing in Souillac. This was our first Cyclomundo trip and it proved to be the best self-guided bike trip we had ever done in Europe, noting that we had done eight previous trips in the last 10 years. The Dordogne region was very beautiful due to its small historic villages, large limestone cliffs and caves, wide flowing rivers, green rolling farmland and quiet backroads. The design of this trip was great as it: started and finished in Souillac which was easily accessible by train from Paris and Toulouse; there were optional loop rides from Sarlat and Rocamadour (or rest days if you didn't want to ride) with a two night stay in each of these towns; the loop rides went to fantastic destinations; the hills were relatively constant but not steep; and the roads were smooth and almost devoid of traffic in late September. Booking and paying for the trip through Cyclomundo was easy with lots of quick advice and responses received from staff in the months leading up to the trip. The bikes (both hydrids and ebikes) were good quality with sufficient gearing. The hotels we stayed in varied from very small to large but were all very comfortable and clean. We highly recommend this trip.
