点评:I visited twice, first to use their wildlife hide one evening and then joining them on a guided beaver walk. Both experiences need booking and cost, but in my opinion are very reasonably priced.
The wildlife hide is one of the most well kitted out hides I've been in. Food to scatter was provided and you had the choice of seating height windows or floor height panels to remove. I stayed for 4 hours, but the time did fly by. I saw a whole multitude of woodland birds including woodpecker, nuthatch and tree creeper. There was a red squirrel, and most impressive of all a visit from a pine marten! Unfortunately no badgers this time but I'm told they are also regular visitors.
The guided walk on my second night started with a talk about these elusive rodents and their reintroduction to Scotland. We headed down to 2 different viewings sites and took in a look at one of their dams. We did have several sightings of beavers, it struck me just how easy it would be to miss them if you don't know what you're looking for or where to look.
Both experiences are highly recommended.
