Well worth the time and money to have a day snorkeling at Isla del Coral

点评：With two weeks in Guayabitos we took ourselves snorkeling at Isla del Coral twice. While the tours being sold on the beach typically include sightseeing and whale watching as well as a stop at the island, we had our own masks and snorkels so we just purchased a boat ride there and back.
We packed ourselves a lunch and tried (in vain) to get there before 10am. Unfortunately the boats don't start as early as we were told and there is a minimum of 4 people to run a boat so we didn't get away at the promised departure time on either of our trips. We did insist on being among the last picked up though, as we wanted to maximize our time on the island.
For anyone planning to go:
The far end of the beach starts to get shady fairly early so it's a good spot to settle if you want to avoid the sun.
There is good snorkeling in the main area in front of the beach but there is AMAZING snorkeling around the corner from the beach - just keep going around the island to your right (looking out from the beach). We saw a huge variety of fish - many more than on our other snorkeling adventures. You feel like you're in an aquarium!
There is a snack bar and a restaurant. You can also rent an umbrella and table and chairs but it was all a bit pricy for our frugal natures, so we brought our own food and found a shady spot to dig out lounge chairs in the sand and lay out our towels.
Expect to pay about 300 pesos per person for a round trip to the island from Guayabitos beach. This should include a wristband that indicates a fee has been paid towards the conservation of the island. It does not include the whale watching or sightseeing, nor does it include masks or snorkels.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed both days that we spent at Isla del Coral, and we're looking forward to going back!

从瓜亚比托斯海滩往返岛上的费用约为每人 300 比索。这笔费用应该包含一个手环，表明已为岛屿保护支付了费用。费用不包含观鲸或观光，也不包含面罩或呼吸管。
总而言之，我们在珊瑚岛度过的两天非常愉快，我们期待着再次前往！
