FOXTON LOCKS PARKING CONFUSION SETTING YOU UP TO FAIL

点评：The car parking at Foxton Locks upper car park is a scam that is setting you up to FAIL.
Parking is £3 for all day & that’s fine so why not let me walk to the payment machine to pay my £3 & get a ticket to put in my car. ?
Instead when walking up to the payment machine a sign says pay on departure.
Another sign far away to your right explains that ANPR have your details coming in & if you don’t pay they may well chase you up.
Why oh why did they not leave the system as before (Buy ticket on arrival as it’s valid for the day) We have visited many times before as Foxton Locks is/was a lovely place to visit.
I guess many of you will be confused when trying to pay at the machine on arrival with coins or app.Hopefully this info will help you avoid a fine.
As always once you have entered your registration & received your ticket on departure keep it just in case these parking charlatans falsely dispute a valid payment.
As a 67 year old still working on steam power I am finding going out for what should be a lovely day is getting more & more stressful with non standard parking procedures set up to catch you out.
