点评：After visiting Battleship Cove in Fall River we decide to see what other "cool" ships might be close to check out. I knew that Groton was the home of the Sub School and I thought their might be a sub to tour. Little did I realize that the Nautilus, the first Nuclear Powered Submarine was available to tour or that there was an entire Submarine Force Museum adjacent to the base. We took the hour drive down to Groton and truly enjoyed the museum and especially the opportunity to tour the Nautilus. For me this was a great visit because my father was part of the Lockheed team that developed the Polaris Missile in the late 1950's and to see the Polaris missile and to learn that there was a SSBN that was named after my great, great grandfather was especially rewarding.
