From that point on, the situation became completely unacceptable and dragged on for months. Communication was slow, chaotic and disorganised, with constant excuses and a complete lack of responsibility. At no point were we given clear solutions or proper instructions; everything required us to chase them repeatedly.
After returning the clock following their instructions, the courier company confirmed that the package had been delivered to their premises, yet they were unable to confirm receipt themselves until we explicitly demanded it days later. In other words, they were not even proactive in acknowledging the return of a defective product.
Furthermore, they refused to arrange the collection of the defective clock, despite being legally obliged to do so. We had to find an international courier ourselves, pay the return shipping costs upfront, and assume the risk of transport.
Despite providing all the required information for the refund (credit card details, bank details, payment receipts, etc.), as of January 2026, we still have not received any refund, neither for the clock nor for the return shipping costs.
Due to their lack of response and complete inaction, we have been forced to file a formal complaint with the European Consumer Centre.
⚠️ Clear conclusion:
I do not recommend this company under any circumstances. Poor professionalism, bad management, no communication and extremely poor customer service.
If you are considering buying a cuckoo clock, look elsewhere. This company will only cause you problems.
