Average course- steep cart fees, better to walk

点评：Golf staff give great, friendly service, but the course is a little beat up. Several of the sand traps are in need of repair (ie sand and edging) as well as the cart paths which have degraded. The greens are well maintained and they are challenging, not a single flat green on the course. The fairways are generally in good condition. The course offers walking carts and golf carts. We got “nickel and dimed” on the cart fees as they charge a hefty $35 per person (yes, that’s $70 for two in a cart). First time I have seen this type of cart fee structure (no gps or cold towels in the carts).Better value in walking. Ownership is Brookfield, who tried to sell the resort a year ago, but didn’t accept a market price. They continue to starve the golf (and hotel) of needed capital, so it will be an average experience until they sell and new ownership reinvests in the resort.
