华盛顿纪念碑的点评
点评：The Washington Monument was nice, but the ranger staff are supposed to ride the elevator both up and down. On the ride up its just a standard greeting.. BUT ON THE RIDE DOWN!! they were supposed to show everyone the bricks of the Monument.
The elevator is designed with glass windows that when electrically charged they allow you to see the 193 bricks that were donated to build the monument.
This is pure laziness on the part of the Monument staff that literally robs the public of viewing our Nations history.
What good does having each state donate a brick for the construction, if no one is ever going to see it!!??
The monument staff working should be required to ride the elevator down to allow the public to see the donated bricks.
Aside from that thier job is completely useless and can be done by any minimum wage security company.
This is purely disgraceful on behalf of the working staff !!! And literally takes away from the guest experience.
