点评：We visited on a Sunday an hour after opening by the time we left around 2 there was a line to get tickets and you could feel the crowds inside. We spent close to 3 hours exploring and could have easily spent another hour there if we waited and ride the terrestrial train that was included with the silver package ticket option that also included the aquarium and reptile house. The zoo has no organized structure to it, it all connects but there are long pathways that can easily make you miss another area if you don’t pay attention and the map is not very accurate. There are a lot of animals to appreciate but it is hard to do that when you see some in inadequate habitats. Some habitats do need replacing and some animals should not be kept in the smaller habitats that they are in but overall most of the animals appeared healthy and content. There are a lot of spaces for families to enjoy, from open grassy spaces, to playgrounds, bouncy houses, tracked train, peddle boats, and zip lines. There are also a lot of places to purchase food and snacks from. Bring coins to access the bathrooms and toilet paper or bring your own toilet paper. There are options to feed and interact with certain animals at a certain time of day like capybaras, giraffes, and the elephant for an additional fee. Tickets can be purchased at the giraffe habitat ticket booth. If you buy the ticket that includes the terrestrial train, do that first so you can get a good lay of the land before walking a lot it. It can be a sad experience if you choose to focus on the bad stuff but it feels like they are doing good by the animals the best they can with the resources they have.
