点评:My husband and I visited the park to complete the via ferrata course known as "La Grande Dalle." It was incredible! Neither of us had done one before and I picked this one as it was "intermediate" and not as long as the full Odyssey but still had cool features like the inverted ladder and suspension bridge. At first, I almost didn't continue but we had an incredible and experienced guide - Philippe - so I felt safe and secure. It was a challenge mentally for sure. If you have a fear of heights don't do it! Because at some point, there is absolutely no turning back. Both my husband and I are pretty fit in our 40s but we're no rock climbers and we managed to keep up with everyone and have a fun time. The views were stunning but the sense of accomplishment at the end made all the nerves worth it. I truly cannot thank Philippe enough for his guidance, expertise and calm nature. We wouldn't have been able to do it without him. One thing to note is that if you have bad ankles, this might not be for you! At some points while you are waiting for others you may be stuck in weird positions. And the way back is a pure hike down. My husband definitely rolled his ankle a few times on rocks and roots. Make sure to have 1.5 L of water on you - it's mandatory. And a good quality small backpack to carry your water bottle and a granola bar. We went at 1:30 and the weather was perfect. Not too hot and sunny. No bugs. But some others recommend wearing bug spray.
