点评：This was by far one of the best and most beautiful surprises for me while traveling through the south of France.
My mother is in her 70’s and has always wanted to do this but never had the opportunity. She was really excited all the way up until putting one leg over the basket…then her nerves got the best of her. Every passenger was so patient, encouraging and gently helped her into the basket with me. In the air, she COMPLETELY forgot how scared she was. I have never heard her laugh with such joy as she did on this hot air balloon ride.
It was a very smooth ride because of Tom, the best pilot to have touring the sky over Provence. He seamlessly transitioned between French and English and taught us about the beautiful region. He gives amazing recommendations and is so thoughtful. A genuinely lovely person.
There is something truly special about the way the earth glows around you as the sun rises. I’m grateful that I got to experience it and even more grateful that my mother did as well, thanks to the fellow passengers, Tom and his team, who are all incredible. I could not recommend the experience enough.
