Poppy Ridge Golf Course的点评
点评：A Mixed bag. The new layout has some interesting holes, however it's the type of course you have to know where to aim with some blind shots and elevated greens. The hard fairways create a lot of roll but they also create a lot of tight lies in the fairway. I'll hit irons and hybrids next time instead of having fairway woods skip into the ball. It's a course that requires defensive chipping and putting because of the fast greens. I should have spent more time on the practice chipping and putting green to get the speed right. On one par 3 I landed the ball 30 yards short, it ran 60 feet past the pin over the green. 3 out of 4 of us went long on shots that looked good at first. Only one player held the green. So if you go, practice hitting off tight lies, hitting short and get a sense of how much more run out you're getting.
