点评：Wow , smashing place , so set in the era , My husband booked us in for our anniversary into the chain bridge hotel opposite and we could see this from our room. so we ventured over, accross the chain link bridge , we just caught them as they were closing at five pm , i have to say peter was amazing so helpful , telling us all the history. even walked us down to the underpass and told us the stories of the pencil signatures on the bricks in the walls from before the men went off to war, the signatures can still just about be seen today . It was amazing to see the lovely steam trains pass by whilst sitting and having a cream tea in the window . . Peter was a brilliant host just the perfect person for the position . The other station staff were amazing too . All volunteers might add . We will most definatly return . Thank you peter for a lovely visit. kind regards M&M
翻译：哇，真是个棒极了的地方，完美还原了那个时代的风貌。我丈夫为我们的结婚纪念日预订了对面链子桥酒店的房间，从房间里就能看到这个地方。于是我们便冒险穿过链子桥走了过去。我们刚好在下午五点关门时赶到。不得不说，彼得真是太出色、太热心了，他向我们讲述了所有相关的历史。他甚至带我们走到地下通道，给我们讲起那些墙砖上用铅笔留下的签名背后的故事——那是战士们出征前留下的印记。这些签名至今仍隐约可见。坐在窗边一边品着奶油茶，一边欣赏着漂亮的蒸汽火车驶过，真是太棒了。彼得是一位出色的东道主，堪称这个职位的完美人选。其他车站工作人员也同样出色——顺便说一句，他们都是志愿者。我们绝对会再来的。感谢彼得为我们安排了如此愉快的行程。祝好，M&M。
