点评：If you're visiting the Berkshires, be sure to visit The Mount! We started by walking the grounds of Edith Wharton's historic estate. We were fortunate to be there during the annual display of outdoor sculpture placed throughout the gardens and woodlands. We also visited the Georgian Revival Stable where we watched an excellent film that gave us an overview of Edith Wharton's life. Best of all, we visited the historic mansion with an excellent small-group tour by Lynn who was extremely knowledgable about the architecture and decor of the home, Edith and Teddy Wharton's life there, and Edith Wharton's publications and other contributions. Lynn patiently and expertly answered questions and made our experience very pleasant. The gift shop is also wonderful with lots of unique treasures.
