点评：They’ve completely ruined what used to be a decent day out. The old unlimited rides are gone and replaced with a card system where you have to pay £2 just to get started, then load points onto it. Rides are priced in awkward amounts like 399 points so you never quite know where you stand and the rides are short, like 2 minutes or less.
There’s also no easy way to check your balance. You only find out you’ve run out after queuing up and getting turned away at the ride, or you have to go and stand in another queue just to top up. It’s badly thought through and frustrating for everyone.
Even the staff have openly said they hate it. Most of them are young and on lower wages, and you can see they’re stuck dealing with frustrated customers all day. It’s not fair on them and it shows in the atmosphere.
You see people queueing, getting rejected, then queueing again just to spend more money. It just drains any enjoyment out of the place, for the parents and the kids.
What’s worse is how obvious the motive is. This isn’t about improving the experience, it’s about squeezing more money out of people. No card readers, no simple way to check balance, and only one place to top up. It feels cheap and poorly run.
It used to be a straightforward £25 for a good day out. Now it’s confusing, frustrating, and far more expensive if your kids actually want to go on rides.
Honestly, avoid it for now. Until they fix this, it’s not worth the hassle.
