点评:Our visit was arranged by Hilton Grand Vacations which is nearby, and it did not disappoint. Our guide, Olga, was wonderful. She explained the winery really comes to life in April, as this was early March their hours are limited. Olga was very thoughtful in her explanations, and it was very educational. To learn about the soil in this part of Tuscany being key to their quality, because it was under water five million years ago. This is an organic winery and the family is proud of this achievement. We tasted five wines, two white and three red, plus a bonus Chianti. All were wonderful, and the cheese, salami and prosciutto elevated the experience. We also sampled their Olive Oil with local bread. There is rich family history here, and we were lucky to meet Giuseppe, who purchased the property in 1997 and restored it to what it is today. He introduced himself and was thoughtful to ask our names.
