点评:A fun stop, but go for the atmosphere—not because it’s a must-do attraction
Creek Street is definitely worth strolling through if you’re visiting Ketchikan. The historic boardwalk is charming, the colorful buildings make for great photos, and it’s easy to imagine what the area was like during its gold rush and red-light district days.
We enjoyed wandering through the shops, watching the creek, and just taking in the scenery. If you’re there during salmon season, seeing the fish in the creek would make it even more special. It’s also a nice place to pick up souvenirs if you’re looking for locally made gifts.
That said, don’t expect to spend an entire day here. We found an hour or two was plenty to explore the shops and enjoy the views before moving on to other parts of Ketchikan.
Overall, Creek Street is one of those places that’s enjoyable because of its history and character. It’s an easy, relaxing stop with beautiful scenery and a quintessential Alaska feel. We’d recommend adding it to your itinerary if your cruise or trip brings you to Ketchikan.
