点评：Well it’s definitely flaming June and it’s been the hottest we’ve ever experienced in almost 50 years of travel to this area having family living locally. We always love Elberry which is a short 10 min walk from broadsands car park along the headland and down the path. However this year it was murky, green murky and thick with seaweed. We decided to return to broadsands beach the following day. It must be the hot weather as the sea was FULL of jellyfish big small and teeny tiny. The sea was also full of weeds but it was warm - all tidal and weather related I guess but we didn’t venture far in as worried we’d be stung. Today was cooler, only saw a few small jellyfish easily avoidable the sea was crystal clear but cold, lots of body boards (I stopped counting at 50) children playing happily on the sands great for digging and playing in the water. There are a couple of toilets, the main cafe has one behind it but 30p a time card accepted. The little cafe sells amazing ice cream and is licensed and you can sit all around to eat snacks and have a drink. It seems the main line of beach huts are individually owned but I think you can hire the ones side on (not best location) and in the shade when we were there early. I expect they’re ridiculously expensive to hire as no one there or shut down not sure. Car parking pay at meter or RINGO - not cheap but the car park has been busy. Steam train toots by and the kids all cheered. Go prepared with chairs cool box absolutely everything you need and you’ll have a lovely day but mark your spot early if the sun is shining
