Kynren的点评
点评：This was a different but brilliant experience, it cost me £38, for one adult and one carer + blue badge parking. Parking was a bit confusing, but once I figured out where we needed to be it was a short walk to the entrance.
We arrived at 9:45 and headed to the Viking village then to our first show ready for 10:30. The shows were all good. Both myself and my daughter struggled to follow the storylines but we enjoyed watching the acts.
The bird show was just amazing. Especially the end bit when lots of birds came together. We struggled a little at the beginning as we were sat near the front due to my mobility issues, we were expecting things to happen in the centre but the majority of the show they flew behind us round the back of the arena and I struggle to turn. But the last bit which was fantastic was everywhere including the centre.
The last show which was the trusty steed was extremely entertaining however still couldn’t follow the storyline.
I think the biggest let down was that the actors were miming and it was all pre-recorded. I can’t understand why if they have learnt all the words they can’t say it themselves with a microphone like in theatres. It would make it so much better in my opinion.
We went to food court for lunch and ordered 2 hotdogs with tomato sauce. As soon as I bit into mine my mouth started to swell with bumps in my mouth. I walked to the visitors centre to ask for antihistamines which they said they aren’t allowed to give.
Thankfully it wasn’t my throat just my lips and inside the front of my mouth. We got a stamp on our hands and drove 5 minutes to a Morrisons to buy some antihistamines before returning for the next show. It’s never happened before when eating hotdogs and tomato sauce so they must have some additive in it that my body isn’t used to. It didn’t affect my day but it could be an issue if someone had a serious allergic reaction.
I did find that every member of staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. However, they weren’t very knowledgeable about certain things and had to ask other members of staff. On one occasion we asked a question they had to ask someone else, then had to radio someone else for an answer. This is probably because it’s only seasonal work and it’s still only a couple of weeks into the new year of Kynren.
I think they could do a bit more with the Victorian village. Was expecting a little bit more.
But on a whole it’s a different and enjoyable experience

最后一场表演《忠实的骏马》非常有趣，只是我还是没能理解其中的故事情节。我认为最令人失望的是演员们只是在做口型，整个表演都是预先录制好的。我不明白既然他们已经背下了所有台词，为什么不能像在剧院里那样亲自用麦克风来配音呢？在我看来，那样会好得多。
我们去美食广场吃午饭，点了两份配有番茄酱的热狗。我刚咬了一口，嘴里就起了很多小疙瘩，嘴唇也开始肿胀。我走到游客中心，想索要抗组胺药，但对方说他们不允许发放这类药物。
幸运的是，只是我的嘴唇和口腔内部出现了症状，喉咙倒没事。我们在手上盖了章后，开车5分钟到达一家Morrisons超市购买抗组胺药，随后才返回继续观看下一场演出。以前吃热狗和番茄酱时从未出现过这种情况，看来这些食品里含有某种我的身体不习惯的添加剂。这件事并没有影响我当天的心情，但如果有人出现严重的过敏反应，就可能会成问题了。
不过，我发现所有的工作人员都非常友善且热情好客。只是他们对某些事情了解不多，不得不去询问其他同事。有一次我们提问后，他们需要先问其他人，之后还得通过对讲机向另一个人询问答案。这可能是因为这份工作只是季节性工作，而且今年 Kynren 的活动才刚开始没几周而已。我觉得他们可以在维多利亚风格的村庄上多下点功夫。我原本期望能看到更多内容。
