A beautiful campground on the waters edge.

点评：A beautiful large campground right on the waters edge. Plenty of spaces to camp and even when incredibly busy over the long weekend, we didn’t feel crowded.
The dog park is a great addition and the kids playground was well maintained and had lots for the kids to do. There are heaps of places by the waters edge to fish and plenty of fish to be caught!
The downside to this beautiful campground is the lack of maintenance by council. The bins were overflowing by the first day of the long weekend (Saturday) and still hadn’t been emptied by the time we left on Monday afternoon. The toilets were nearing a bio-hazard. There were overflowing sanitary bins, leaking toilets and showers, no toilet paper, no soap and no paper towel. There is a sign stating that the toilets are cleaned for 2 hours daily from 10:30am - 12:30pm but they remained in the same terrible condition until Monday afternoon when the council finally came to clean them.
All in all, it was a good experience to camp here but we would be mindful in future of the cleanliness of the facilities.
