Crossraguel Abbey的点评
点评：We have been driving past Crossraguel approximately four times a year for the last 8, always meaning to visit.
Yesterday, we finally did and it did not disappoint!
What a fabulous place! There is so much more to see than can be first viewed from the road.
The views from the tower are amazing and the peaceful feel of the place is just so uplifting.
The guide Paul was such a gentleman, but sadly he explained that visitor numbers have dropped. Some feel it is too expensive, we felt it was well worth the admission price. These buildings need upkeep if they are to survive for future generations. The grassy areas around the abbey are immaculate. The place is obviously loved!
I found the history fascinating and bought the guidebook to read up on the ferry on the way home.
Historic Scotland also need to divert sone funding to "fix" the masonry issues that require scaffolding for H&S.
We will definitely call in again when it reopens next season.

等下个季节重新开放时，我们一定还会再来。
