点评：The National Park system (Dept. of the Interior) is in charge of this property and it makes a very nice presentation. The grounds are beautiful, and Saint-Gaudens' work is displayed both indoors and out. The visitor-center/gift-shop combo is small but a nice timeline of Saint-Gaudens' life is displayed and the NP Ranger behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. Once on the grounds (there is a fee to enter), all the buildings were open to the public. We browsed the studio and the stables, and got a guided tour of the main house from a local volunteer. Fantastic! There is also a working studio on the grounds and several truly lovely walking trails. If we ever return here, we will bring a picnic lunch and spend a bit more time on the trails, but what we did see & do was quite impressive.
