点评：If you want to stand in below 0 temperatures for over 4 hours while being entertained by mostly local entertainment, all while waiting for a beloved ground squirrel/rodent to give a weather forecast, this is the place for you. The Old Lady dragged Grumpy to Gobbler's Knob for this very experience. The nice thing is almost everybody there (from the locals to the tourists) acknowledge that the entire thing is nonsensical and a good time is had by (almost) all. Some of the entertainment was very good, some was almost painful, but all was appreciated. The fireworks show was surprisingly long and was a huge hit. We had a good view as we stood next to the access walkway to the VIP area. Over several hours, we heard many VIP ticket holders complaining about the lack of organization and overcrowding of their dedicated zone. While the sense of disorganization seemed to be prevalent throughout the event, it did appear to be extreme in the VIP area. We took the $5/person shuttle bus to Gobbler's Knob, which was great. Though it was a roundtrip ticket, the disaster that is supposedly the queue for the return ride made us realize walking back to town was absolutely the much better option, even in the zero degree weather. A solid 3.5 out of 5 due to lack of organization but rounded up for the experience and bragging rights.
