Idyll Hounds Brewing Company的点评
点评：Proverbs 16:27-29
“Idle hands are the devil’s workshop; idle lips are his mouthpiece.”
That’s what Proverbs 16:27 says, and that begins my fascination with Idyll Hounds, the clever play on words.
Idyll (a noun) is an extremely happy, peaceful, or picturesque scene, typically an idealized or unsustainable one, so as used in the name Idyll Hounds, Idyll is misused because it’s used as an adjective.
So it’s more about the imagery of the name than the accuracy as a descriptor, but who cares.
Most people probably just say, cool name, and I think I could dance to it.
So Idyll Hounds is a cool local microbrewery, and a cozy hangout spot.
I went to buy some brews for a friend, but it seems like a fun hangout if you are part of the microbrewery scene.
So back to where I began with Proverbs...
The next verse (28) says, “An evil man sows strife; gossip separates the best of friends.”
That’s true, and gossip is a ruthless, vicious, god-hated, destructive thing, so beware of the evil gossipers. They are evil and stir up dissection. (Proverbs 6 from the god book))
I’m only going to “gossip good” and tell you that Idyll Hounds is brewtastic, and it seems like a place the microbrewery crowd should love if you don’t get confused by the name.
But maybe the name makes sense after a few cold ones.
